CASTEX HOTEL, Paris

Bastille Metro Station (Line 1) is 250 metres away, offering direct access to the Louvre Museum, Gare de Lyon (1 stop), and Charles de Gaulle Airport via RER B from Châtelet Les Halles. Place des Vosges and Maison de Victor Hugo Museum are a 5-minute walk, and Île Saint-Louis is less than 10 minutes away. The surrounding area is a safe, lively hub with numerous restaurants, cafés, bakeries, and shops, including popular spots like L'Ange 20 and Le Week End within 0.5 km. For long-term access, the station connects to Gare du Nord in a few stops.

All rooms are soundproofed and air-conditioned, with heating available in winter. Each room includes a private shower or bath, hair dryer, electric kettle, and flat-screen TV. Some rooms overlook the interior courtyard, while others face the street - interior courtyard rooms tend to be quieter. Interconnecting double and twin rooms (connected by a private corridor) are available for families. Room 3, a triple near the courtyard, has a short staircase and is noted for its size. Room condition varies; the property is older and some furniture shows wear, but beds are generally comfortable. No rooms have balconies.

Breakfast is served from 7:00 to 10:00 and includes cereals, croissants, bread, pastries, boiled eggs, cheese, and cold cuts. The cellar setting is atmospheric, but the selection is basic - no fresh fruit or hot dishes. The hotel does not operate a restaurant, bar, or in-room dining beyond the breakfast service. A wide range of cafés, restaurants, and bakeries - including Cafe Ginger, Cucina Napoletana, and Mamy Therese - are within a 5-minute walk, offering local and international cuisine.

Confirmed wellness and leisure facilities are absent: no spa, pool, or gym. For relaxation, the hotel provides an interior courtyard and a small lounge with a computer. Public parks, gardens, and walking routes (such as the Promenade Plantée) are accessible within a 10-15 minute walk. The Le Marais neighborhood itself offers numerous art galleries, boutiques, and historic sites for daytime leisure.
