The hotel is set on a quiet street in the Gothic Quarter, within a 4-minute walk to Barcelona Cathedral and 200 metres from Las Ramblas. Two metro stations - Liceu and Jaume I - are each 300 metres away, providing quick connections across the city. Barceloneta Beach is a 15-minute walk. The surrounding area is packed with restaurants, bars, and boutiques, and a well-stocked supermarket is directly opposite. Taxi access can be tight because of narrow pedestrianised streets; pickup and drop-off is possible but may require a short walk from the vehicle.

Rooms are styled with a contemporary minimalist look, including large wall photographs and dark or wooden floors. Standard rooms are compact and some face an internal courtyard or air shaft with limited or no natural light; exterior rooms with windows or balconies onto Avinyó street are quieter and brighter. All rooms include satellite TV with Chromecast, air conditioning, heating, a safe, minibar, and a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Superior rooms add bathrobes, slippers, and coffee/tea facilities. Soundproofing varies - thin walls and noise from corridors and adjacent rooms can be an issue, especially near the stairwells and elevators. The smart TVs may have limited app functionality due to system restrictions.

A buffet breakfast is offered daily for 19 € per person, with a range of cereals, cooked options, meats, cheeses, fruit, and fresh bread. Coffee, including cappuccino, is available in the café area.
