Hotel Details

Location

Located 700 metres from Plaça Catalunya, with Universitat metro 2 minutes away and the Aerobus stop a 1-minute walk.
This centrally placed property puts the Gothic Quarter and Las Ramblas within a 10-12 minute walk. The Universitat metro station gives direct access to both the red (L1) and purple (L2) lines, reaching Sagrada Familia in 10 minutes and Barceloneta Beach in 25 minutes. The surrounding streets are lined with bars, restaurants, supermarkets, and a minimarket on site. For airport transfers, the Aerobus to Plaça Universitat is a 1-minute walk from the entrance.

Dining

Breakfast is a continental buffet served from 08:00-11:00 with fruit, cereals, vegetables, and coffee, costing 12 EUR per person.
The on-site snack bar and vending machines offer drinks and light bites, and a bar with happy hour is open in the common area. There is no restaurant; however, numerous dining options are within a 5-minute walk, including restaurants, bars, and a supermarket across the street. A shared kitchen is available for self-catering, located in the basement. A minimarket on site provides basic groceries.

Wellness and Leisure

Seasonal outdoor swimming pool (April-November, 09:00-21:00) on a sun terrace with loungers, plus a solarium.
Leisure facilities include a billiards table, evening entertainment, live sport broadcasts, and a games room. The pool is small but functional for a cool-down after sightseeing. A solarium is available for sunbathing. The pool may close during maintenance or poor weather, and no alternative indoor pool or spa exists.

Facilities and Services

Free Wi-Fi throughout, 24-hour front desk, luggage storage for a fee, and a shared kitchen with fridge and stovetop.
The property is wheelchair accessible with adapted showers, a lift, and CCTV security. Laundry is available at 9€ per load; hairdryers can be rented with a 10€ cash deposit or are included in private rooms. Daily housekeeping cleans common areas, but in-room bins may not be emptied daily. A business centre and fax/photocopying are available. Safety deposit boxes rent for 1€ per day. The bar includes a welcome drink for some booking types.

Top Strategic Tips

  • 01

Bring your own padlock for the in-room lockers and consider renting a safety deposit box for valuables.

  • 02

Use the airport bus (Aerobus) to Plaça Universitat, then a 1-minute walk; it is cheaper than a taxi.

  • 03

Request a lower bunk if mobility is an issue, as top lockers can be difficult to reach.

  • 04

Book a private room for guaranteed ensuite bathroom access and a quieter environment.
