The Universitat metro station gives direct access to both the red (L1) and purple (L2) lines, reaching Sagrada Familia in 10 minutes and Barceloneta Beach in 25 minutes. The surrounding streets are lined with bars, restaurants, supermarkets, and a minimarket on site. For airport transfers, the Aerobus to Plaça Universitat is a 1-minute walk from the entrance.

Private double and quad rooms are ensuite with a shower and toilet; all private rooms have a private bathroom. Dormitory options run from 4-bed to 12-bed configurations, each with lockers (bring your own padlock), a reading lamp, and individual electricity socket. Female-only dorms are available. Most rooms have air conditioning and heating, but dorm ventilation is limited to internal circulation; street-facing rooms may be less suitable for light sleepers due to noise. Some rooms include a balcony. Mattress comfort varies, with some reporting a worn-in feel. Shared bathrooms in dorms have limited hanging space.

The on-site snack bar and vending machines offer drinks and light bites, and a bar with happy hour is open in the common area. There is no restaurant; however, numerous dining options are within a 5-minute walk, including restaurants, bars, and a supermarket across the street.
