The hotel sits on Barcelona's most famous boulevard, La Rambla, within walking distance of the Gothic Quarter (10 min), Plaça de Catalunya (10 min), and the Columbus Monument (5 min). Drassanes metro station is just around the corner, providing direct connections to the rest of the city. The port is a 5-minute stroll away; Barceloneta beach is reachable on foot in 25 minutes or in 15 minutes by public transport. The Aerobus from the airport stops at Plaça de Catalunya, a 13-minute walk down La Rambla. Alternatively, the RENFE train from the airport costs about €5 each way, and a taxi takes roughly 25 minutes for around €40. A Hop-on Hop-off bus stop is at the Columbus Monument, 5 minutes away. The area is very central but also lively and busy, so those preferring a quieter residential setting should consider this trade-off.

Rooms range from the 18 m2 Compact Double (ideal for solo travellers) to the Junior Suite (43 m2 plus a 63 m2 terrace). Standard Double/Twin rooms measure 20-22 m2 and may face an interior light shaft or the street. City-view rooms have a French balcony overlooking La Rambla - but no seating. Terrace rooms (Double/Twin with terrace or Junior Suite) have a small table and chairs and overlook the Raval district, not La Rambla. Most rooms include a small fridge; a kettle can be requested from reception at no extra cost. All rooms are air-conditioned, soundproofed and have a safe. Bathroom amenities are basic (shower gel, paper cups). Triple and Family rooms can accommodate a third person on a single bed or sofa bed; adjoining rooms can be arranged but are not guaranteed.

The breakfast buffet (€16 per person) includes bread, pastries, bacon, scrambled eggs, coffee, and tea - enough to start the day, but no made-to-order items or fresh juice. The hotel has no lunch or dinner restaurant and no bar or lounge area. A vending machine offers snacks and drinks in the lobby. Within a 10-minute walk along La Rambla, there are countless cafés, bars and restaurants, including the popular Les Quinze Nits and Viana, plus a variety of tapas places and a nearby Irish pub.
