RELAIS CAVALCANTI GUEST HOUSE, Florence

The guest house is situated on a pedestrian street within the medieval centre, a 3-minute walk from the Uffizi Gallery and 5 minutes from Ponte Vecchio. Santa Maria Novella train station is a 15-20 minute flat walk; taxis are recommended for those with heavy luggage. The surrounding area is filled with cafés and restaurants, and the location provides direct access to the Duomo, Accademia, and San Croce on foot. Despite the central setting, double-glazed windows help reduce street noise.

The communal kitchen and dining room are equipped with a microwave, sandwich press, kettle, refrigerator, dishes, and cutlery. Free coffee, tea, and apples are available throughout the day. The space also has a music system and a library, creating a homelike atmosphere. Over a dozen restaurants, trattorias, and cafés are within a 2-5 minute walk for those who prefer to eat out. The staff provides personalised restaurant recommendations.

Activities such as hiking and cycling are available off-site for an additional charge. Board games and puzzles are provided for family entertainment. The property's main leisure asset is its central location, offering immediate access to Florence's museums, galleries, and historic landmarks.
