CENTAURO HOTEL, Venice

The Centauro Hotel has 30 rooms with 18th-century Venetian-style decor. Room options include Single, Double, Triple and Quadruple rooms. To reach the hotel from the Venice railway station, take vaporetto n° 1 or n° 2 to Rialto. If arriving by car, parking is available at Tronchetto or Piazzale Roma; then take vaporetto n° 1 or n° 2 to the Rialto stop. From Rialto, walk down Riva del Carbone to Calle Cavalli, then to Campo Manin. The Centauro Hotel is in Calle della Vida or delle Locande. From the "Venezia Air Terminal " bus take Calle della Vida o de le Locande at number 4297/A.

The Centauro Hotel is in a palace built in the seventeenth century and does NOT have a lift. High tide can occur a few days a year, usually in autumn and winter, when the sea level rises due to wind, sea-currents, low pressure, and gravitational attraction of the sun and the moon. Floods are no more than a few centimetres and only last a couple of hours. You can still reach the main places of the city on foot thanks to raised pedestrian platforms. Reduced costs are available for parking in some garages with which the Hotel has special agreements.
