Hotel Details

Location

The hotel sits in central Akasaka, a 2-minute walk from Akasaka-mitsuke Station and a 3-minute walk from Akasaka Station.
This central location provides access to Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line, Marunouchi Line, and Ginza Line, with direct trains to Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ginza, and the Imperial Palace (12 minutes by foot and train). Haneda Airport is about 40 minutes away by train from Akasaka-mitsuke Station, and Narita Airport is best reached by taxi. The lively neighborhood is packed with restaurants, bars, convenience stores (7-Eleven steps away), a BicCamera electronics store, and a Don Quijote-style discount shop. The area is safe and walkable, though around 8:30-9 pm and 11:30 pm-midnight it sees office workers heading home, and there are host/hostess bars nearby.

Accommodation

Rooms are compact but clean, with Slumberland mattresses, flat-screen TV, air conditioning/heating, and private bathrooms.
The property offers double, twin, triple, family, and suite layouts. Standard double rooms are approximately 14 m2 with a 160 cm wide bed; queen rooms are about 15 m2 with the same bed width. Most rooms include a desk (except twin rooms), a mini refrigerator, an electric kettle, a safety deposit box, and a sofa or yukata robes. Free organic toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash), a hairdryer, slippers, and a ladies' kit are supplied, with additional items available from the lobby. Many rooms are carpeted. Rooms in the main building are generally better maintained, while the annex building has older furniture, stained carpets, and a musty or cooking odor. Some rooms show wear such as peeling wallpaper, scratches, or mildew marks. The sofa bed provided for a third or fourth guest is often uncomfortable and short (under 1.7 m), limiting space for luggage. Lighting can be dim, and dark drapes do not fully block outside light. Air conditioning is individually controlled, but in some cases central heating can be overpowering. Bathrooms are clean but compact, with good water pressure in the shower.

Dining

The hotel does not serve breakfast, but the on-site Japanese restaurant offers lunch and dinner sets.
A Japanese restaurant on the ground floor operates daily from 07:30 to 21:00, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner (Japanese cuisine). Walk-in breakfast is available for 990 yen (set menu) or 2000 yen for a traditional Japanese breakfast. However, some walk-in requests have been refused due to high pre-booked orders. The restaurant voucher system for pre-booked breakfast means walk-ins should check availability at reception first. The neighborhood provides a wide variety of dining options within a 2-minute walk, including ramen, sushi, udon, takoyaki, Kobe beef kaiseki, izakaya, and pizza, as well as a 24-hour convenience store.

Wellness and Leisure

A men-only public bath and sauna are available for 500 yen per hour, with no women's or mixed facility.
The spa and sauna on the second floor are exclusively for male guests; tattoos are not permitted. The fee is 500 yen for one hour (no free access). The facility has been described as a bit run down but clean and good value. Women have no dedicated bath or sauna on site. There is a coin-operated hot tub/jacuzzi available for an additional charge. No swimming pool is present.

Facilities and Services

Free Wi-Fi, luggage storage, coin laundry, 24-hour front desk, and daily housekeeping are provided.
Wi-Fi is free and available throughout the hotel. Luggage can be stored before check-in and after check-out; on check-in day, bags are brought directly to the room if possible. Delivery from other hotels is accepted with prior notice. Daily housekeeping is available, along with towel changes and bed making. A coin laundry (washer 200 yen, dryer 100 yen for 30 minutes) is on the 3rd floor, but dryers may require multiple cycles to fully dry clothes. The front desk operates 24/7 and offers a shared lounge/TV area, free coffee and tea in the lobby, a trouser press, a safety deposit box, iron sets, and fax/photocopying (additional charge). Key card access, CCTV, smoke alarms, and 24-hour security are in place. The elevator serves all floors. No airport shuttle is available.

Top Strategic Tips

  • 01

Book a room in the main building to avoid the dated annex building with musty carpets and lingering cooking odors.

  • 02

Choose a twin or double room if traveling as a couple or solo; rooms for 3 or 4 people are extremely small with little floor space for luggage.

  • 03

Use the nearby subway stations (Akasaka and Akasaka-mitsuke) for direct access to Shibuya, Ginza, and Shinjuku without needing a car.

  • 04

Arrive before 23:00 to complete check-in, and confirm late arrivals with the front desk in advance to avoid reservation cancellation.
