CHARLES BRIDGE HOSTEL & APARTMENTS, Prague

The hostel is located directly at the entrance of Charles Bridge, placing you at the heart of Prague's Old Town. Most landmarks, including the castle and main square, are a 10-15-minute walk away. A tram stop is a minute away, and Metro A is about a 10-minute walk, providing easy access to the airport via bus 119. The area is very busy with pedestrians and street noise, especially in the evening. Several restaurants and cafés are within a 5-minute walk, and a grocery store is nearby. The location is ideal for sightseeing on foot, but car access is difficult and parking is not available on site.

The property offers a variety of room types: private studios and apartments, twin/double rooms, triple rooms, and dormitories (including female-only dorms with 7 beds). Many rooms feature fully equipped kitchenettes with a stovetop, fridge, microwave, kettle, and cookware. Private bathrooms are available in some rooms, while others share bathroom facilities. Dormitories may have bunks or single beds; some dorms have lockers beside the bed. Bed linen, towels, and toiletries are provided free of charge. Rooms vary in size; some are spacious, while private rooms can be compact. Heating is central and not individually controllable in some areas, and there is no air conditioning. Street-facing rooms are prone to noise, so rear rooms are recommended for lighter sleepers.

The hostel does not have a restaurant. Free hot drinks (coffee, tea, hot chocolate) are available at the reception throughout the day. There is a shared kitchen on each floor and inside private rooms, equipped with a stovetop, fridge, microwave, kettle, and cookware, allowing self-catering. Numerous restaurants and cafés are within a 3-minute walk along Mostecká Street and around the corner. A grocery store (Vacek) is also nearby for supplies. Breakfast is not offered on site.

The property does not have a swimming pool, spa, or fitness centre. For leisure, it offers free activities including evening entertainment, happy hour, karaoke, live music/performance, nightclub/DJ, stand-up comedy, and walking tours. Paid options include bicycle rental, bike tours, and pub crawls. The outdoor terrace and garden furniture provide a place to relax. The central location allows easy access to attractions such as the Lennon Wall and Kampa Park, both a short walk away.

The hostel offers free high-speed Wi-Fi in all areas. Free luggage storage is available before check-in and after check-out. A safety deposit box at reception is free for small valuables. Lockers in dorms can be locked with a deposit (100 CZK / 5 EUR refundable). Laundry service is available for an extra fee. A paid airport shuttle can be arranged (900 CZK for 1-4 people, 1200 CZK for 5-8). Public transport tickets can be purchased at reception. Other services include a tour desk, currency exchange, express check-in/out, and printing/fax services for a fee. The building has 24-hour security and CCTV. Pets are allowed on request in private rooms only.
