CITADINES PRESQU'ILE LYON, Lyon

Vieux Lyon is a 6-minute walk away, giving immediate access to historic sites, restaurants, and the riverbanks. Lyon-Perrache Train Station is a 13-minute drive or 20-minute metro ride, and Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport is about 30 minutes by taxi (or longer by public transport). The immediate neighbourhood is packed with restaurants, cafés, and shops along Rue Mercière and surrounding streets. The hotel is in a pedestrian-friendly area, making it easy to explore on foot. For those arriving by car, rue de Brest can be used for dropping off luggage; parking is then a short walk away.

All units feature a kitchenette equipped with a microwave, fridge, dishwasher, stovetop, toaster, kettle, and ironing facilities. Bed linen and towels are provided. Some apartments offer a separate living area with a sofa bed and dining table. Bathrooms are private and come with a bath or shower, hairdryer, and free toiletries. Deluxe studios and apartments include a Nespresso coffee machine. Standard rooms have views onto a quiet courtyard or a busy street; rooms facing the street may have some noise, but double-glazed windows significantly reduce sound. Standard rooms have fans, which can be helpful but are not as effective as air conditioning. Some bathrooms have been noted as dated, and a few units may show wear and tear. Soundproofing between rooms is good, but noise from above (such as moving furniture) can sometimes be heard.

The 24-hour front desk can assist with check-in/out, taxi bookings, and local advice. Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas. Luggage storage is free for all guests, both before check-in and after check-out, making it easy to explore the city without bags. The launderette uses the WeWash app; washing costs €5 and drying €4. Cots are available for children up to 2 years old (book an apartment to accommodate a family with two adults and a child). Pets are allowed at €8 per night per pet. The property has a lift, key-card access, CCTV, and safety deposit boxes. No on-site parking, airport shuttle, spa, or swimming pool.
