The hostel sits near the Rhône river, about 20-25 minutes on foot from the old town. Guillotière metro station is a 5-minute walk, providing 10-minute connections to Part Dieu and Perrache train stations. The surrounding area is lively with many restaurants, shops, and a Lidl supermarket within a short stroll. While the district has a vibrant multicultural atmosphere, some streets can feel less safe after dark - using the well-lit main roads or taking a tram is recommended. Lyon-Saint Exupery Airport is 19 km away; the tram from the airport stops close by.

Standard double rooms are 17-18 m² with carpeted floors, a private walk-in shower, hairdryer, and free toiletries. Family rooms sleep up to 5 in single beds. All rooms have heating and soundproof walls, but no air conditioning - only a small fan is provided. Higher floors (up to 4th) require stair access as there is no elevator. Dormitories feature bunk beds with curtains for privacy, personal lights, USB sockets, and under-bed lockers (bring your own padlock). Bed linen is included; towels cost 1.50 EUR. Some road-facing rooms may experience street noise, while rear-facing rooms are quieter. No rooms have a balcony.

The ground-floor bar offers a relaxed setting for drinks, snacks, and light meals, including special diet options on request. Breakfast is a continental spread with croissant, baguette, jam, and a hot drink, priced at 10 EUR - it must be ordered and paid for by midnight the day before. Happy hour runs with an extra charge. Guests are welcome to bring their own food to eat in the common area; a microwave and shared fridge are available. For a wider selection, several restaurants (French, Japanese, Indian, and more) lie within a 5-minute walk.

The hostel organises free walking tours of Lyon, a great way to explore the city. Indoors, board games and puzzles are kept at the reception. The sun terrace is a pleasant spot to unwind with a drink from the bar. There is no gym, spa, or swimming pool on site.

The 24-hour front desk offers express check-in/out, private check-in, and luggage storage at no cost before check-in or after check-out. Lockers in dorms require your own padlock. Free WiFi reaches all areas. Daily housekeeping keeps rooms and common areas tidy. A co-working space is available on the ground floor, though it can be noisy due to the bar.
