Old Lyon is about a 15- to 20-minute walk, and Place Bellecour is reachable in five minutes on foot. For drivers, the paid Q-Park Carnot is right at the station. The immediate area is busy with commuter traffic and the usual station bustle; several brasseries and cafes (notably the historic Brasserie Georges next door) are within a few steps. Parking is off-site and can be confusing on the first approach; best to navigate to the station first.
