CITY EXPRESS BY MARRIOTT NEW ORLEANS 1-10, New Orleans

Accommodation options include double rooms and suites. All rooms feature a private bathroom with a bath and shower, along with air conditioning, a refrigerator, a blow dryer, and a wardrobe. Suites add a sofa bed, providing extra sleeping space. Upper-floor rooms are accessible by lift. While room sizes are comfortable, some have been noted to feel dated or have visible wear. Road-facing rooms can experience highway noise, so light sleepers may prefer an interior-facing room. The hotel is undergoing renovations, and conditions can vary significantly between rooms.

Guests can enjoy a complimentary daily continental breakfast buffet, which may include items such as bread, pastries, yogurt, and sometimes empanadas. The breakfast area also has a microwave for guest use. While the breakfast covers the basics, it can be limited in variety, particularly later in the serving window. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but the surrounding area has several fast-food restaurants and a Walmart for additional food options.

For leisure, the property includes a seasonal outdoor swimming pool (generally open 09:00-21:00) surrounded by a fence for safety. The fitness centre is free for guests and features a treadmill, stationary bike, and stairmaster. Note that the pool has been closed for maintenance in the past, so it's wise to confirm availability ahead of your stay.

The hotel provides free Wi-Fi throughout the property and free on-site parking with no reservation needed. An electric vehicle charging station and accessible parking are available. Services include a 24-hour front desk, daily housekeeping, a business centre, and laundry facilities (for a fee). Meeting rooms and fax/photocopying are also offered at an additional charge. Safety features include key card access, CCTV, and safety deposit boxes. The elevator has experienced occasional outages, and luggage trolleys are available.
