COMFORT INN ANAHEIM RESORT, Anaheim

This hotel sits on Katella Avenue, about a 25-minute walk to the Disneyland entrance, or a 5-minute walk to the Toy Story parking lot shuttle stop. The Anaheim Convention Center is approximately 2 km away and reachable on foot. Freeway access is immediate, making it a convenient base for driving to the parks, Angel Stadium (5 minutes), or Huntington and Newport Beaches (both under 30 minutes). Starbucks and several restaurants are across the street, and a 7-Eleven and Del Taco are within a 5-minute walk. A rideshare from the lobby is the most practical option for Disneyland trips, as the hotel offers no shuttle service. Parking is free for one car, but the lot can get crowded later in the evening, and several storage containers have been reported to block spots.

All rooms are non-smoking and air-conditioned, featuring a private bathroom with a bath or shower and hairdryer. Each comes with a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a work desk, a tea and coffee maker, ironing facilities, and a mini-fridge and microwave. Rooms are described as spacious, clean, and well-equipped, though the decor is basic and dated in some cases. Beds are frequently noted as very comfortable, while pillows are soft. Road-facing rooms can pick up freeway noise, and windows are not fully soundproofed; rooms away from the road are quieter. Some rooms have shown rust, cracked shower tubs, and calcium buildup on shower heads. The air conditioning works, but can be loud. No rooms have balconies. A private entrance is standard.

The pool is open all year, heated, and fenced, with towels provided. It is a popular spot for families after Disneyland park visits. The hot tub is available for free, though some have noted it was not always hot. The pool area has been described as clean and pleasant, though occasional construction work nearby has caused debris. Sun loungers and beach chairs are available. There is no spa on site. The gym has been reported as closed or limited to basic cardio equipment (treadmills, recumbent bike, elliptical) with no free weights.

Parking is free for one vehicle per room; additional vehicles cost $25 per night. The lot has limited space, and later arrivals may have to park far from the building. Express check-in/out is available. Luggage storage is free and practical for early arrivals or late departures. A business center is on site. The 24-hour reception desk can sell Disney tickets and hold a safe deposit box. Wheelchair-accessible rooms and accessible parking are available. The hotel is entirely non-smoking, with a designated smoking area outside. Pets are not allowed. Key cards can deactivate if kept near magnetic items. There is no shuttle to Disneyland, the airport, or other attractions; guests rely on rideshares or the nearby shuttle stop. A minimarket and vending machines are available in the lobby.
