CROSTI HOTEL, Rome

The hotel is set just off the prestigious Via XX Settembre, surrounded by embassies and banks, and the Church of Santa Maria della Vittoria is around the corner. Roma Termini station is a 10-minute walk, providing rail links across the city and to airports via the Leonardo Express train. Metro stations on lines A and B (Castro Pretorio and Repubblica) are within a 5-10 minute walk, and multiple bus stops are nearby. The area is quiet at night but offers many restaurants, bars, and a large supermarket within a short walk, making it practical for dining and shopping. Most of Rome's historic attractions, such as the Trevi Fountain and Colosseum, are within a 20-30 minute walk or a short metro ride, so a car is not needed.

Breakfast is served in a basement dining room as a continental buffet that includes bread, pastries, cakes, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereals, scrambled eggs, sausages, cheese, ham, and good coffee from a machine. Vegan options such as soy milk are available, and the breakfast staff are described as friendly and efficient. Early departures can often receive a packed breakfast to go. The spread is generally considered generous for the price, though some items like croissants may occasionally be less fresh, and the variety remains the same each day. The surrounding streets offer many well-regarded restaurants and pizzerias within a short walk, including an Asian-Italian place directly opposite the hotel that is highly noted.

Wi-Fi is free and available throughout the hotel, with good speed reported. Reception is open from 07:00 to 23:00; arrivals after 23:00 incur a EUR 30 surcharge and must be confirmed with the property. Free luggage storage is available for both early arrivals and after check-out on the day of departure, but not for multiple days. Daily housekeeping is included, with fresh towels provided daily; additional services like laundry (with a price list) and dry cleaning are available for an extra charge. Other services include currency exchange, a tour desk, babysitting/child services, and fax/photocopying. A safety deposit box is provided in each room, and the property features key card access, CCTV, smoke alarms, and fire extinguishers. There is a lift (with 5-6 steps at the entrance), and no parking is available on site. Pets are not allowed. Accepted payment cards include American Express, Visa, Diners Club, JCB, Maestro, Discover, CartaSi, UnionPay, and MasterCard.
