The hotel's location is ideal for rail travellers: Santa Maria Novella Station is a 3- to 5-minute walk, and the tram to the airport (15 minutes, about €2) stops nearby. Major attractions such as Florence Cathedral, the Uffizi Gallery, and Ponte Vecchio are all within walking distance - roughly 10 to 15 minutes. The immediate area has a high concentration of restaurants (Tino Caffe, La Grotta Di Leo, and others within 0.3km). Although the street can feel busy, the central position makes it easy to explore on foot. Paid garage parking (€23/day for cars) is available a short walk away, but no on-site parking is offered.

Accommodation ranges from single rooms to family rooms and apartments. Most rooms have private bathrooms with showers, bidets, and hairdryers. Air conditioning operates only from 1 June to 30 September; heating from 8 November to 7 April. The main hotel has a lift that reaches only the first floor; rooms on the second, third, and fourth floors require climbing stairs. The annex building and the apartment are on upper floors with no lift and a noticeably lower standard of finish. For elevator access, book a Deluxe or Family Deluxe room on the first floor. Some rooms are very small, limiting luggage space. Noise from neighbouring guests or the street can be an issue; soundproof windows are present in some rooms but not all. Plumbing in some bathrooms occasionally produces unpleasant odours. Family rooms have one common sleeping space (e.g., one double and two singles) without separate bedrooms. No balcony is available.

For morning meals, guests can purchase a buffet breakfast at a sister hotel a short walk away, payable there and by prior reservation. Otherwise, numerous restaurants (Italian, Asian, and more) are within a 3-minute walk, including Tino Caffe, Osteria Pastella, and Ristorante Benedicta. There is no on-site bar or evening meal service. Tea- and coffee-making facilities are provided in each room.

The hotel offers free Wi-Fi throughout, free luggage storage (before check-in and after check-out), daily housekeeping, safety deposit boxes, and 24-hour security.
