DAPLACE - HOTEL GRAN TORINO SUITES, Rome

The property is situated in the heart of Rome, just 5 minutes' walk from Santa Maria Maggiore and 800 metres from Cavour Metro Station. Termini Station is 3-7 minutes away on foot, providing easy rail and metro connections across the city and direct links from both Rome airports (the hotel can arrange a paid airport transfer). The Colosseum, Roman Forum, and many other landmarks are within a 15-20 minute walk; the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps take about 20-25 minutes. Numerous restaurants, cafes, and a Carrefour Express supermarket are within a 2-3 minute walk. The location is well-suited for sightseeing without needing a car, as most of the main attractions and public transport are easily reachable on foot.

The property offers single and double rooms, each with a private bathroom featuring a shower, bidet, and hairdryer. Rooms include a flat-screen TV, wardrobe, safe, and electric kettle. Some double rooms have city views. Rooms are clean and modern in style, with parquet floors and comfortable beds highlighted as common positives. However, a critical factor is that rooms facing the street can have considerable traffic noise, and windows may not be well soundproofed - light sleepers should avoid these. Other rooms open onto internal courtyards and have very little or no natural daylight. Single rooms, in particular, are often described as very compact. Some rooms have had cleanliness or maintenance issues such as worn fixtures. The property has a lift to the first floor.

The property does not serve breakfast nor have a restaurant. Instead, rooms come with a welcome amenity that typically includes complimentary still and sparkling water, coffee capsules for an espresso machine, tea, and occasionally a bottle of wine. A mini-fridge is also provided, which is useful for keeping own drinks or snacks. The surrounding area is well-supplied with restaurants and cafes within a 2-5 minute walk, offering a wide range of dining options. For those arriving late, the self check-in system means you can settle in and then explore the many nearby eateries independently.

There are no wellness or leisure facilities available on site. The main leisure advantage of the property is its central location, allowing guests to explore Rome's historic sites on foot from the doorstep.
