DAYS INN BY WYNDHAM PHOENIX WEST, Phoenix

The property is in a mixed-use area with light industrial businesses, fast-food outlets (McDonald's, Best Wok, Las Cazuelas Mexican Food Restaurant within 0.5 km), and other roadside motels. The surroundings are characterized by significant homeless presence and visible drug activity, especially after dark, making walking outside the property boundary unsafe. The hotel's on-site parking lot is gated, and the night manager actively maintains a secure perimeter. However, guests should not plan to walk to nearby food options, and the area is best experienced as a drive-to destination. For drivers, the location offers excellent highway connectivity - a 30-minute drive to Peoria sports complexes and Phoenix Raceway, and easy access to central Phoenix landmarks such as Copper Square and the Phoenix Convention Center (each 11 km away) and Phoenix Art Museum (10 km).

The rooms have been recently renovated in a clean, modern style with hard-surface flooring that is easy to keep clean. Each room includes a private bathroom with a bath or shower and hairdryer, plus a tea and coffee maker, refrigerator, and microwave. No rooms have a balcony. The heating and air conditioning units can be individually controlled, but the window insulation is limited, making rooms closer to the highway less quiet. Noise from highway traffic and hallway sounds can be noticeable. Comfortable beds and pillows are standard, though pillow firmness can vary. The rooms offer a safe deposit box for valuables. There is limited hanging space for clothes; storage is basic. The property has family rooms with two beds, and suites with additional space. Smoke-free policies are in place throughout the building.

Breakfast is a self-serve continental style, typically offering make-your-own waffles, bagels, bread, cold cereal, oatmeal packets, and fruit. Coffee is also available. The breakfast area is basic, and options are limited; the hot breakfast items (eggs, sausage) are not always available. Breakfast hours can end as early as 09:00. The property has no restaurant, bar, or room service, so dinner requires a short drive to fast-food outlets (within 0.5 km) or a longer journey into central Phoenix. Sodas and water are available for purchase at the front desk.
