HOTEL DE SEVRES, Paris

The hotel sits on a quiet side street between the Saint-Placide (line 4) and Sèvres-Babylone (lines 10 and 12) metro stations, each about a five-minute walk away. Bus lines 89, 94, 95, and 96 stop at Rennes Saint-Placide. Major landmarks such as the Orsay Museum (2 km), Louvre Museum (2 km), and Luxembourg Gardens are within easy walking distance. The area is safe, filled with cafés, restaurants, and shopping, and is well-served for direct metro connections from all major Paris stations and airports. There is no on-site parking, but a partnership with Effia Pasteur - Gare Montparnasse offers negotiated rates, and the nearby Q-Park accepts SUVs.

The property offers five room categories: Classic Saint-Germain (13 m2, contemporary decor, calm, some face the street), Superior Cherche Midi (17 m2, extra space for longer stays), Triple (21 m2, family-friendly), Single (12 m2, popular with business travellers), and the standout Apartment (36 m2) with a kitchenette, dining area, Nespresso machine, and separate toilet in a true Parisian-apartment setup. All rooms include anti-allergy duvets and pillows, double-glazing, flat-screen TV, and free Wi-Fi. Bathrooms are private and fully equipped with a bath or shower, hairdryer, and free toiletries. Rooms are clean, quiet, and comfortable, with some variation in street-side noise; courtyard-facing rooms are notably calm. No room has a balcony, and there are no connecting doors between adjacent rooms for families wanting interconnecting suites.

The hotel offers a compact but well-equipped fitness room with a bike, treadmill, rowing machine, and strength-training equipment from BH Fitness-all free of charge for guests. It is reserved for adults only. For quieter downtime, the winter garden and lounge area open onto a serene planted patio; free tea and coffee are available here each afternoon. The property does not have a spa, sauna, or swimming pool.

The hotel provides a 24-hour front desk staffed by a multilingual team that can arrange restaurant recommendations, taxi bookings, excursions, and transfers (a private car can be booked; no hotel-operated airport shuttle is available). A shared lounge/TV area with a computer and printer provides free internet access. Safety features include 24-hour security, CCTV, smoke alarms, and a safety deposit box (additional charge). The property has a lift servicing all floors and one wheelchair-accessible superior room. Family rooms are available, but extra beds can only be added in the Superior room, Triple, or Apartment.
