DRURY INN & SUITES ORLANDO NEAR UNIVERSAL ORLANDO RESORT, Orlando

The hotel sits in the Restaurant Row area with numerous dining options such as Seito Sushi, Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza, and Whole Foods Market within a short walk. Walt Disney World and Disney Springs are 13 km away, while Pointe Orlando and the Orlando Eye are under 10 minutes' drive. The Orlando International Outlet is 15 minutes northeast by car. The highway location provides quick car access to theme parks and attractions, but road-facing rooms can experience traffic noise. A free scheduled shuttle serves Universal Orlando Resort only, not Disney or the airport.

Breakfast is served from 6-9:30 AM on weekdays and 7-10 AM on weekends, offering a buffet with hot items like scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, and fresh fruit. The 5:30 Kickback runs daily from 5:30-7:00 PM, featuring rotating hot dishes such as macaroni and cheese, chicken alfredo, and hot dogs, along with a salad bar and desserts. Adults receive three free alcoholic drinks per night (beer, wine, or cocktails). The hotel also has Kitchen + Bar, a restaurant open for dinner. Free soda and popcorn are available in the lobby all afternoon and evening. Breakfast and Kickback menus are consistent, which can feel repetitive during longer stays.

The outdoor pool is heated and features a connected hot tub area. The pool deck has limited loungers, so it can become crowded during peak times. The fitness centre is equipped with basic exercise machines. There is no spa on site. The pool and hot tub are popular for relaxing after theme park days, but the pool is outdoor only, so cold weather limits swimming.

Free private on-site parking is available but cannot be reserved. The 24-hour front desk offers express check-in/out and luggage storage. A business centre and meeting/banquet facilities are on site, with fax/photocopying at an additional charge. Laundry services are available for a fee, plus coin-operated washers and dryers. Daily housekeeping is free. Pets are allowed for a daily fee. The hotel is wheelchair accessible with features such as a lowered bathroom sink, raised toilet, grab rails, and tactile signage. A safety deposit box is also provided. Note that there is no shuttle to the airport or Disney World.
