LA QUINTA INN TAMPA AIRPORT STADIUM WESTSHORE, Tampa

The hotel sits across from Tampa International Airport, making it ideal for early departures or late arrivals. A free shuttle operates from 4:30 AM to Midnight, running hourly on the half hour. An 11-minute walk reaches International Plaza and Bay Street for shopping and dining. Several chain restaurants-LongHorn Steakhouse, Olive Garden, Rubio's, Pei Wei-are within a 0.5 km walk. Raymond James Stadium is a short drive away, and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is 18 km from the property. Some rooms face the parking lot and airport, so noise from aircraft and overnight activity is possible. The area is walkable for nearby restaurants but a car or shuttle is needed for most attractions.

Rooms feature a flat-screen cable TV, desk, coffee maker, mini-refrigerator, microwave, and ironing amenities. Private bathrooms include a bath and shower with hairdryer; accessible rooms offer grab-rails, roll-in shower, and visual alarms. King and double-bed setups are available, with some rooms offering a seating area. Many rooms have been renovated and are reported as clean and comfortable, with good air conditioning and hot water. However, some older rooms have issues such as stains, mold, poor lighting, broken fixtures, sticky floors, and no closet. Road-facing and lower-floor rooms can be noisy; rooms near the parking lot may experience activity overnight. The property is motel-style with exterior corridors-no elevator to upper floors. Room key cards may deactivate frequently, requiring replacement at the front desk.

A Bright Side Breakfast® is included daily, offering waffles, fresh fruit, coffee, and more according to brand, but the actual spread is usually a continental-style selection of prepackaged muffins, bagels, cereal, and coffee. No hot food or fresh fruit is consistently available. The breakfast area also provides juice and coffee, though machines occasionally malfunction. For a fuller meal, IHOP is in the same parking lot, and several sit-down restaurants (Olive Garden, LongHorn Steakhouse, Rubio's) are within walking distance. Vending machines for snacks and drinks are available on site.

The seasonal outdoor swimming pool is open all year. The pool area includes lounge chairs and is generally clean, though some instances of debris have been noted. Pool towels are not always provided outside. There is no hot tub or indoor pool. The pool is a simple, functional amenity for a quick dip rather than a resort-style feature.
