The hotel sits on a pedestrianised medieval square, making car access impossible but ideal for exploring Barcelona on foot. Most major attractions are within a 10-15 minute walk (Picasso Museum, Basilica, Port). Liceu Metro connects directly to the rest of the city, and airport bus stops are nearby. The square is lively during the day and becomes much quieter after 22:00. Several official and holiday taxis can be picked up on the nearest accessible street, approximately two minutes away.

Room sizes are compact (down to approximately 11 m2), and some interior rooms have no window or face an elevator shaft, leading to limited natural light and ventilation. Rooms with a balcony offer a view of Plaça del Pi and the church; the balcony doors effectively block outside noise. Beds are comfortable, but housekeeping is not daily and some rooms have experienced drainage odours or mould, particularly in bathrooms. Air conditioning can struggle during peak summer heat. The lift is very small (max two people or one person with luggage), and the 20 steps to reception require carrying luggage. Best suited to travellers who prioritise an unbeatable location and value over spacious accommodation.

The buffet breakfast consists of bread, croissants, butter, jam, cereal, yogurt, juice, and coffee or tea. Paid fruit and wine/champagne are also listed as available.
