FAIRFIELD INN & SUITES SOUTH BEND MISHAWAKA, South Bend

The property sits near several chain restaurants and shopping options, including Applebee's, LongHorn Steakhouse, and Wings Etc, all within a 0.5 km walk. This makes it convenient for finding meals despite the hotel having no restaurant on site. The University of Notre Dame and Bethel College are each about 7 km away. The location is practical for car travel, but the lack of on-site parking and the absence of an airport shuttle mean you will need to arrange your own transport.

The breakfast includes hot items such as eggs and bacon, plus bagels and cream cheese. Options can be limited, and the quality has been described as basic. For those who need to leave early, the grab-and-go option allows you to take breakfast with you. Since the hotel has no restaurant, lunch and dinner must be obtained from nearby dining spots.

The indoor pool is 1.2 m deep and has been reported as clean and not crowded on some days. However, the pool has been closed at times by health department orders, so it is wise to confirm availability before your stay. The fitness centre is free to use and provides equipment for a basic workout. No spa or jacuzzi facilities are available.

The property has a business centre, an ATM on site, and offers express check-in/out. Luggage storage is free. A safety deposit box is available for securing valuables. The elevator is noted as small and dated. Housekeeping is provided, but some rooms have had cleanliness issues. The front desk staff are generally described as friendly and helpful.
