Ekoda Station (Seibu-Ikebukuro Line) is about 3-5 minutes on foot, and three stops (around 6 minutes) bring you to Ikebukuro Station, a major transport hub on the JR Yamanote Line. Shin-Ekoda Station (Toei Oedo Line) is about a 10-minute walk. The property is 4 km from Ikebukuro Station and 4 km from The Sunshine 60 Observatory. Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden is 7 km away, Meiji Jingu Shrine 7 km, and Tokyo Haneda International Airport is 22 km (about 1 hour by train). A bus stop directly outside the hotel offers a route to Shinjuku. The immediate area is filled with convenience stores (Lawson next door, Family Mart nearby), supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, and a few thrift shops. Despite the quiet residential setting, the station area has lively dining and shopping options. No airport shuttle is available.

The in-room refrigerator may produce audible humming. Pillows are described as thin, and some rooms have had reports of mould in bathrooms or musty smells, though staff will offer a room change if issues arise. No daily cleaning unless paid, and towel changes incur a fee. The room is functional and best for travellers who prioritise location and price over decor.

The room's kitchenette (microwave, refrigerator, stove) allows self-catering; several supermarkets and convenience stores (Lawson, Family Mart, 7-Eleven) are steps away for groceries and prepared meals.
