The B&B sits on a street lined with historic houses in a safe, peaceful neighbourhood. Broadway-City Hall SkyTrain station is a 4-to-5-minute walk away and is on the Canada Line, offering direct, 25-minute train service to Vancouver International Airport without transfers. Downtown Vancouver is a short SkyTrain or bus ride away, while Granville Island and Queen Elizabeth Park are both within 10 minutes by car or transit. Numerous restaurants, including Vij's, Shiro Japanese, and Indian Roti Kitchen, are located within a 0.5 km radius, and Vancouver General Hospital is less than a 10-minute walk. Rooms on the main floor or facing the road may pick up noise from internal hallway movement or street traffic, while certain units have quiet aspects.

Breakfast is a cooked-to-order hot meal with a range of options, including eggs (omelettes, fried, poached, etc.), French toast, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals, pastries, fresh bread, and drinks such as coffee, tea, and juice. Gluten-free choices are available on request. Service is provided by a dedicated kitchen team in a bright winter-garden-style veranda looking onto the garden, or at outdoor tables on the deck in warmer weather. The breakfast can also be taken in the guest lounge, which has a TV and fireplace. There is no restaurant or bar on site; the surrounding streets offer a wide selection of international dining within a short walk.

Wellness and leisure facilities are limited to a shared guest lounge equipped with a flat-screen TV and a wood-burning fireplace, along with a small garden with outdoor furniture and a rear deck. There is no swimming pool, spa, fitness centre, or game room. The immediate neighbourhood is well-suited to walking, with parks, historic houses, and many restaurants within easy reach. Stanley Park and the downtown waterfront are accessible via a 10-minute bus ride or 20-minute walk from the SkyTrain station.
