Multiple metro stations (Parmentier M3, Belleville M2/M11, Oberkampf M5/M9) are 5-13 minutes on foot, giving direct connections to the Louvre, Notre-Dame, the Marais and other landmarks. Charles de Gaulle Airport is reachable via metro and RER in about 45-60 minutes. The immediate area feels safe and is well served by supermarkets and bakeries; a boulangerie is around the corner. The walk to the Louvre takes about 45 minutes through pleasant streets. Nearby activities include ice-skating and boating.

Private rooms are spacious with parquet floors, soundproofing, a flat-screen TV, private entrance, and either city or inner courtyard views - the city-view rooms also have a balcony. Dormitories vary from 2-bed to 12-bed configurations. Each bunk has blackout curtains for privacy, a reading light, a socket, and a large storage shelf underneath. The bathrooms inside dorms include a shower and sink (two showers in larger dorms); toilets are located separately in the hallway. Air conditioning is available, but in some rooms the thermostat controls are crossed out and only windows provide ventilation, which can let in mosquitoes. Rooms on upper floors involve steep spiral stairs with no lift. Some rooms are described as large and well-lit; noise from other guests using the hallway toilet can be noticeable at night. Road-facing rooms can be noisier, while inner courtyard rooms are quieter.

Breakfast consists of a set tray - one hot drink, fresh orange juice, a mini croissant, a mini pain au chocolat, half a baguette with butter and jam, and often a chouquette. Bread and pastries are fresh from the boulangerie. Coffee is good and the breakfast is popular. For €9 it is considered good value and a practical way to start the day without needing to find a café. The bar on site serves drinks (wine, beer, coffee) in a pleasant courtyard and lounge area. No hot food or cooked breakfast is available. No on-site kitchen or fridge exists for guest use - a microwave is the only cooking facility. A hot water charge of €1 per cup applies. Many restaurants, cafés and a boulangerie are within a short walk for those wanting variety.

The property offers a small courtyard terrace with outdoor furniture and a bar area that also operates as a café during the day. The games room (table football or similar) is occasionally mentioned. The area is well served by parks - Buttes-Chaumont and Père Lachaise are within walking distance. No gym, pool, spa, sauna or jacuzzi facilities are present. Toilets are separate from the bathroom on each floor; showers are inside the dorm or private room. Reception is staffed 24 hours, with check-in until midnight. Payment is on site (cash or card). No pets are allowed. A hairdryer is available on request. There is no kitchen, fridge, or guest-use dining area beyond the bar tables. Housekeeping includes sheet changes and bathroom cleaning but does not provide free replacement towels.
