The hotel occupies a narrow street just off the buzzing Las Ramblas, putting most central Barcelona attractions within easy walking distance. Liceu Metro (green line 3) is 5 minutes on foot, offering quick connections across the city and to the airport (via welcome pickups or a direct taxi ordered through reception). Boqueria Market, the Port, and the Gothic Quarter are all within a 10- to 15-minute walk. The seafront and cruise-ship bus stop are roughly 15 minutes away. Despite the central location, the immediate area can feel lively at night - lighter sleepers may prefer a room away from the street or one with better soundproofing. Note that the building's narrow street can make it hard for some taxi drivers to find, so using the hotel's pre-booked transfer service is advisable.

Room categories vary significantly in size and outlook. Standard double and twin rooms are compact with limited natural light - some face internal courtyards or adjacent walls. These rooms typically lack a fridge and tea/coffee facilities (apart from three rooms). Superior rooms and those with a private terrace are larger, brighter, and often set on upper floors; many offer a direct view of Palau Güell or the city skyline. The superior room with a terrace includes sun loungers and a seating area, ideal for relaxing. Quadruple rooms with a pull-down bed are available but the extra bed is noted as less comfortable. Bed configurations range from double or twin beds (some pushed together to form a larger surface) to single beds. All rooms feature a private bathroom with a hairdryer, a free safe (key provided at reception), and a smart TV. Tea/coffee making facilities and minibar are present in some superior categories but not in standard rooms.

The on-site restaurant serves a paid American buffet breakfast (approximately €14 per person) with hot and cold items, including scrambled egg, pastries, bread, cold cuts, cheese, fruit, and hot drinks. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dietary requirements can be accommodated. Breakfast is served from 07:30; a packed breakfast can be arranged for early departures the day before. The hotel's main leisure feature is its rooftop terrace, which offers 360-degree views of the city including Palau Güell, the Gothic Quarter and the port. The terrace is furnished with sun loungers and outdoor seating, plus a small shallow plunge pool (often described as knee-deep, ~45 cm) ideal for cooling off rather than swimming. A bar is available on the terrace but service is accessed via intercom. There is also a small solarium area and a fitness centre with basic equipment. The shared lounge/TV area on the lower ground floor provides additional space to relax. The rooftop is generally not open in the early morning. For more extensive spa or pool facilities, visitors should look elsewhere.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. The 24-hour front desk can arrange taxis, provide tourist information, store luggage (before check-in and after check-out until 23:00), and offer secure lockers where guests keep their own key.
