Upon arrival in Oslo, the city centre is easily accessible on foot or by public transport, making the ferry an efficient and scenic way to travel between these two capitals.

Standard cabins accommodate 2 to 4 people with bunk beds and include a window with sea views. Comfort cabins have a double bed, flat-screen TV, desk, and mirror. Commodore cabins add a double bed, complimentary toiletries, flat-screen TV, and a glass of sparkling wine on the outward journey. Commodore Deluxe cabins are more spacious and include a seating area, window, and access to the 24/7 Commodore Lounge with unlimited wine, beer, soft drinks, snacks, and current newspapers and magazines. Deluxe cabins also offer room service and refreshments. Cabins are cleaned to a high standard and are described as comfortable and quiet, though standard-dated interiors may feel compact. Road-facing noise is minimal.

Syd serves freshly baked pizzas and pasta for lunch and dinner in a relaxed setting. Kull is a lively steak and seafood grill with a warm, rustic atmosphere, open for dinner. Skagerak offers a generous buffet with Nordic and international dishes, a dedicated children's menu, and serves breakfast and dinner. The buffet dinner is described as reasonably priced with good selection. Kværn coffee house is open all day, serving homemade pastries and coffee. The Italian restaurant food is noted as very good.

The indoor pool and hot tub are open daily from 13:00 to 21:00. Pool access costs 50 DKK for adults and 25 DKK for children. The ship also features a games room, happy hour (additional charge), live music performances, and a nightclub/DJ.
