HAMPTON INN & SUITES BOSTON CROSSTOWN CENTER, Boston

The hotel sits on a busy thoroughfare adjacent to a large medical complex, resulting in continuous ambulance and police sirens throughout the day and night. The immediate neighbourhood is characterised by a high number of homeless individuals and visible drug activity, particularly around the hotel perimeter and parking garage. The nearest subway station is Massachusetts Avenue (Orange Line), a 10-15 minute walk, but many find the area intimidating after dark. For hospital-related visits the location is practical, but for general tourism it is less suitable without a car. Rideshares to downtown, Fenway, and the airport are typical choices; the Silver Line bus provides public transit connections to South Station.

Rooms are generously sized, featuring dark wood furniture, a work desk, and well-regarded comfortable beds. Each room includes a microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker, flat-screen TV with cable, and free Wi-Fi. Most rooms have a private bathroom with a shower; some accessible rooms have a chest-high handheld shower head. Air conditioning and heating are standard. Room cleanliness can be inconsistent, and some report stained carpets or furniture. Noise from the surrounding streets and hospital is a common issue; rooms on higher floors or facing away from the street tend to be quieter. No rooms have balconies. Luggage storage is available free of charge.

A complimentary hot breakfast is served daily, featuring options such as waffles, eggs, sausages, potatoes, cereal, fruit, and yoghurt. Breakfast times are 6am-9am on weekdays and 7am-10am on weekends. There are two on-site restaurants: Dona Habana Restaurant & Lounge offers Caribbean and Latin American cuisine for lunch and dinner in a family-friendly, modern setting; ZC Boston Modern Asian Restaurant & Lounge serves sushi and Asian dishes for lunch, dinner, and cocktails. A Dunkin' Donuts coffee shop is also on the property. Free coffee and tea are available 24 hours in the lobby, with cookies offered at the front desk in the afternoon.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. A complimentary shuttle service operates to Quincy Market, the aquarium, and the seaport area; the schedule is limited with drop-offs on the hour between 6am-10am and 3pm-8pm. Parking is available on site in a garage with in-and-out access for $30 per day. The front desk is open 24 hours and offers express check-in/out, an ATM, luggage storage, safety deposit boxes at the desk, and car rental assistance. A business centre with free fax/photocopying and paid meeting/banquet facilities is available. Housekeeping is provided daily; laundry and dry cleaning are available for an additional charge. Pets are allowed with applicable charges. The property features a lift, wheelchair-accessible areas, a designated smoking area, and CCTV security.
