Location

One block from Thames Street and Newport Harbor, in the heart of downtown Newport.
All of downtown Newport - shops, restaurants, the wharfs, Bowens Wharf, International Tennis Hall of Fame, and the Cliff Walk - is within a 5 to 10-minute walk. On-street parking is scarce, but the Inn's own free lot (21 spaces) is an advantage if you can secure a spot. Once parked, the car is generally not needed for the duration of the stay. The quiet street location provides a restful base while keeping you steps from the city's energy.

Accommodation

Spacious king suites with exposed brick, original beams, and thoughtful amenities.
All suites feature king beds (some with queen sofa beds), private bathrooms, Nespresso coffee machines, electric kettles, complimentary fruit, plush robes and slippers, flat-screen TVs, air conditioning, and heating. Select suites offer private balconies, patios, or harbor or roof views. Deluxe suites look toward Mill Street and the neighbourhood; the Townhouse pet-friendly suite has a harbor view. The property is two stories without an elevator, but ground-floor rooms are available on request. The overall feel is clean, comfortable and quiet, with blackout curtains and comfortable beds contributing to restful nights.

Breakfast is a to-order continental meal including fresh fruit salad, pastries, Greek yogurt parfait, hard-boiled eggs, juice, organic coffee, and Tazo tea - all included and delivered to your door at a chosen time. In warm weather (Memorial Day to Labor Day), breakfast can be enjoyed on the rooftop deck with views of the harbor. There is no on-site restaurant, but the location one block from Thames Street puts dozens of dining options within a five-minute walk. Afternoon sangria and flavoured water are offered in the lobby.
