RIVERSIDE RESORT, Whistler

The resort is located 2 km from Whistler Village Ski Resort and 3 km from Nicklaus North Golf Course. A BC Transit bus stop is a 5-minute walk away, with buses every 30 minutes to Whistler Village for $2.50 per journey. Walking to the village takes approximately 25-30 minutes via a maintained trail. Taxis are also available for around $10 each way. Lost Lake trails are a 7-minute walk, and Green Lake is nearby. The Scandinave Spa is within a 7-minute walk. The property's location offers a balance of nature and village access, suitable for those with or without a car.

Cabins feature a master bedroom, living room, loft with two single beds, a full kitchen with oven/stove, and private bathroom. Some cabins have balconies (check availability). Yurts are spacious, heated with baseboard heaters (space heaters in some), and include a mini-fridge, table and chairs, and bedding. Yurts 9 and 10 have air conditioning. Shared bathroom and shower facilities are a 2-minute walk from the yurts. Cabins 1-6 and yurts 1-3 are pet-friendly. There is a minimum age requirement of 25 for all cabin and yurt bookings. No extra beds are available in cabins; yurts can sleep up to 5. All units have private entrances.

Barn Nork Aharn Thai offers Thai cuisine for dinner from 16:00-20:00, closed on Mondays. The menu includes vegetarian and gluten-free options. The on-site café provides additional light fare, and the minimarket sells snacks, drinks, and camping supplies. Cabins have a full kitchen with cookware, utensils, and a stove/oven, allowing self-catering. Yurts do not have cooking facilities, but a communal BBQ area with picnic tables is available. Breakfast is not served at the resort, but guests can prepare meals using the cabin kitchen or purchase items from the market.

Guests can rent snowshoes on site. The spa & wellness centre is available for an additional charge. Outdoor recreation includes a volleyball court, BBQ facilities, badminton, hiking, and cycling - all free. A children's playground and board games are on-site. Golf is available at Nicklaus North Golf Course (3 km away, additional charge). Skiing is off-site at Whistler Blackcomb. The Scandinave Spa is a 7-minute walk away, offering hot baths and massages. There is no swimming pool.
