HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS & SUITES BOSTON - CAMBRIDGE BY IHG, Cambridge

The Lechmere MBTA station (Green Line) is a short walk, giving easy public transit access to downtown Boston, MIT, Harvard Square, Boston University, and Fenway Park. The hotel sits in a mixed-use area on a busy road, with road and train noise possible, especially in street-facing rooms. A shopping center across the street includes a grocery store, McDonald's, and a variety of stores. Several restaurants and pizza places are within a 0.3-0.5 km radius (Anthony's Pizza, Le's Sushi, East Side Bar & Grill, Sweet Touch Cafe, Royal Punjab, Arams #2 House of Pizza, Court House Seafood). Driving to Boston Children's Hospital takes about 15 minutes, to Harvard Business School 10-15 minutes, and to Harvard Law School 20-25 minutes. The Museum of Science is 3 km away; other attractions such as the New England Aquarium, Bunker Hill Monument, and Boston Common are within 3 km. The hotel is not within walking distance of downtown Boston's core (30-40 minutes on foot), but the transit connection is convenient. The surrounding area is generally safe and well-lit.

The free breakfast is a practical and valued feature. Offerings include scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon or sausage, pancakes (with an automated pancake machine, when working), oatmeal, fruits, yogurt, cereals, bread, and beverages. Coffee is available 24 hours in the lobby. The breakfast area can become crowded during peak times, and food replenishment may occasionally slow down before closing. No restaurant or bar is on-site - the hotel does not have a full restaurant. However, a 24-hour McDonald's is right across the street, and multiple other dining options (Anthony's Pizza, Le's Sushi Bar, Royal Punjab, Court House Seafood, etc.) are within a short walk. The hotel also provides a small market on the premises for snacks and drinks.

The hotel does not have a swimming pool, spa, or in-house gym. A partnership with Ever Fitness, located in the adjacent plaza, allows guests to use its facilities for free. Keys for the gym are available at the front desk. The shared lounge/TV area in the lobby offers a space to relax.

WiFi is free in all areas. While adequate for web browsing and streaming, it may not be reliable for online gaming. Parking is $50 per night on-site and requires reservation - it is often tight, with some large vehicles blocking spaces. An overflow lot a 5-minute walk is available when the main lot is full. The front desk is open 24 hours and offers express check-in/check-out, concierge service, and luggage storage. A business centre with free fax/photocopying is available, and there are meeting/banquet facilities. On-site services include a vending machine (drinks and snacks), a minimarket, and an ATM. Housekeeping is provided daily only upon request - towels are changed, but beds may not be remade unless requested. Dry cleaning and trouser press are available for an additional charge. The property has one lift and is equipped with accessible parking. Cots can be provided for infants. Accepted payment methods include American Express, Visa, Diners Club, JCB, Discover, Carte Blanche, and MasterCard.
