HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS & SUITES COLORADO SPRINGS NORTH BY IHG, Colorado Springs

The hotel sits in a shopping and dining complex at the north end of Colorado Springs, making it convenient for both attractions and daily needs. Cheyenne Mountain and its zoo are nearby, and the freeway provides quick connections to downtown Colorado Springs, Pikes Peak, and other landmarks. Several restaurants-including Polo Club Bar & Grill and Las Palmitas-are within a 0.5 km walk, and a supermarket is close by for supplies.

Breakfast currently consists of a cold continental grab-and-go selection, including breads, pastries, yogurt, fruit, and hot drinks. This is a change from the previous hot buffet. Guests who prefer a hot meal can find several restaurants within walking distance, including Polo Club Bar & Grill and Carrabba's Italian Grill nearby. Coffee is available in the lobby throughout the day.

The indoor pool and hot tub are open daily until 11pm and are well-regarded for relaxation after a day of exploring. The fitness centre is free to use and includes basic cardio equipment. The second-floor deck is a standout feature, offering panoramic views of Pikes Peak and a pleasant spot for an evening routine. Pool towels are provided, and the pool area can feel warm; ventilation is adequate.

On-site parking is free but requires a reservation, so booking ahead is essential. The 24-hour front desk staff are consistently friendly and helpful, and can assist with early check-in or late arrivals. A small minimarket sells snacks and water. The business centre and free WiFi are practical for work. Pets are accepted (dogs only, with restrictions and a nightly fee). The hotel is wheelchair accessible with grab rails in some toilets, and a lift serves all floors. Daily housekeeping is provided, though service timing can vary; requesting morning service at check-in ensures consistency. Laundry facilities include a complimentary washer and dryer for guest use.
