HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS HOTEL & SUITES ATLANTA BUCKHEAD BY IHG, Atlanta

The hotel sits 5 km from Mercedes-Benz Stadium and within a short drive of Lenox Square Mall, Phipps Plaza, Atlantic Station, and trendy Buckhead restaurants and bars. Georgia Aquarium is 7 km away, and Atlanta city centre is 11 km. A bus stop right at the property connects to Lindbergh Center MARTA station (about 1 km walk) for direct rail to the airport and downtown. No airport shuttle is provided. The area is well-lit and heavily trafficked, though occasional parking lot incidents have occurred.

The hotel offers 123 rooms including standard king, double, and king suites with a pullout sofa. Some suites have a separate bedroom with door. All rooms come with a 32-inch flat-screen TV, work desk, in-room safe, iron, and hair dryer. Select rooms are wheelchair accessible with grab bars and roll-in showers. Rooms facing the interstate may have traffic noise; interior rooms are quieter. The property shows some signs of age, and occasional cleanliness issues such as mold or pests have been reported-the IHG Clean Promise applies. Bathrooms are private with a shower; some suites offer two bathrooms.

The Express Start Breakfast includes hot breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, cinnamon rolls, cereals, oatmeal, yogurt, milk, juice, and coffee. Breakfast runs until 9:30 AM on weekdays; hot items may run low near closing, so arriving early ensures the full range. No restaurant or bar is on site, but several casual eateries are within a short walk: Asian cuisine, burgers, chicken wings, and coffee shops. A minimarket is also available in the hotel.

The outdoor pool operates seasonally from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with lounge chairs, umbrellas, and towel service. The fitness centre features free weights, a stationary bike, and a treadmill. An outdoor patio with a fire pit offers a relaxing seating area. No spa is available. Nearby activities include golf (off-site, additional charge), bowling, and hiking.
