HOLIDAY INN HOTEL PORT OF MIAMI-DOWNTOWN BY IHG, Miami

Accommodations are showing significant age and wear. Rooms are generally small, with dated decor and furniture. Carpets are often stained, and bathrooms are compact with low water pressure and occasional mold issues. Beds can be comfortable for some but others have reported squeaky frames and worn mattresses. Air conditioning works but may not offer consistent temperature control. Some rooms include a microwave, though many do not; a shared microwave is available in the lobby. Connecting rooms and suites with sofa beds are available. Rooms from the 6th to 10th floors have bay views. The property has a total of 200 rooms across 10 floors. The property's older condition makes it a better fit for travelers prioritizing location and short stays over modern comfort.

Marina's Bar & Grill is located on the lobby level facing Biscayne Boulevard, open for breakfast (7:00-11:00 AM) and dinner (5:00-10:00 PM). The breakfast buffet is priced at $19.95 plus tax and includes a hot and cold selection. Some packages include breakfast for two adults, with children ages 11 and under eating free from the main menu when accompanied by a paying adult. For those wanting more variety or lower cost, Bayside Marketplace across the street offers numerous dining options. The on-site bar serves cocktails and drinks in a lounge setting.

The fitness center is open around the clock and equipped with standard cardio and weight machines. The outdoor swimming pool was not available and is not currently operational. For leisure activities beyond the hotel, Bayside Marketplace offers shopping, dining, and entertainment, and the Kaseya Center hosts events and basketball games. Families can walk to nearby attractions like Bayfront Park and the Miami Children's Museum.

A 24-hour front desk provides concierge service, ATM, and wake-up calls. Luggage storage is available for early arrivals or late departures. The business center offers printing and copying. Laundry facilities are on the 3rd floor and require coins. The hotel has three elevators, but only two are typically in working order. Accessible rooms with grab bars, roll-in showers, and visual alarms are available for guests with disabilities. The hotel offers a free accessible transportation service with advance notice. Late checkout can be confirmed free of charge. The on-site sundry shop sells snacks and essentials. The hotel accepts major credit cards and cash, and requires a $50 daily deposit. Pets are not allowed.
