Located 5 km from Sagrada Família and 6 km from Park Güell, the hostel sits in a safe, lively neighbourhood with supermarkets, cafés, and restaurants within walking distance. The L4 metro line connects directly to the city centre and to the beach. Barcelona El Prat Airport is 21 km away - public transport takes around one hour (metro L9 to Collblanc, L5 to Maragall, then L4 to Vía Julia), while a taxi takes about 30 minutes. Public transport runs until 2am on Fridays, 24 hours on Saturdays, and until midnight on other days; night buses are available. A covered parking garage is located about 50 metres from the hostel.

All accommodation is in shared female-only dorms. Each bed has a privacy curtain that creates a personal space, plus a small locker under the bed suitable for items such as a laptop or passport - not for a full suitcase. Suitcases are stored either next to the bed or in the locked luggage room. The rooms are air-conditioned and heated, but windows cannot be fully opened for security, so ventilation is limited. Noise from late arrivals and early departures is frequent; earplugs and a sleep mask are recommended. The atmosphere is social but not a party environment, with most guests respecting quiet hours in the dorm.

The shared kitchen contains two large industrial fridges, a microwave, oven, electric kettle, cookware, cutlery, and a dining area. Free tea and coffee are available around the clock. Several supermarkets and a variety of restaurants, including Braseria Nico's and Restaurante Hostalet, are within a five-minute walk. The hostel occasionally organises paid community dinners such as taco night, but these are not guaranteed. For a fuller meal, the surrounding area has many affordable dining options.

The gym is small but functional, equipped with workout equipment and yoga mats, and is accessible at any time. The rooftop terrace provides a pleasant space to relax and features views over Barcelona. The hostel also has a shared lounge with Netflix, a TV area, and a selection of board games. Regular social events - such as craft nights, wine-and-paint sessions, and movie evenings - are organised by the staff and are often included in the stay.

Wi-Fi is free and works in all areas. Luggage can be stored free of charge before check-in and after check-out until 22:00, with access to a locked luggage room via a key from reception. A laundry service costs €4 (drop-off and pick-up). Safety features include CCTV in common areas and outside the property, smoke alarms, a security alarm, and fire extinguishers. The building has a lift and is wheelchair accessible, with adapted bathrooms with grab rails. Reception is open from 14:00 until midnight, with after-hours entry by code. There is no parking on site, but a covered garage is about 50 metres away.
