HOSTAL LAS NIEVES, Ibiza Town

Hostal Las Nieves sits on a central street in Ibiza Town, just 5 minutes' walk from both the historic walled quarter (Dalt Vila) and the marina. The ferry terminal is 600 metres away, and the airport bus stop (line 10 or 10 Express) is about 300 metres from the hotel, making arrivals straightforward without a car. The immediate area is packed with bars, restaurants, fast-food chains, and a supermarket. For the beach, Ses Figueretes is a 15-minute walk; Playa d'en Bossa is about 10 minutes by bike or taxi. Taxis are readily available from a nearby stand. While the location is superb for exploring on foot, street parking is paid (blue zone, €1/hour) and free parking is a 20-minute walk away, so a car is not recommended.

Rooms range from single to quadruple configurations, all with a ceiling fan and wardrobe. Private bathroom rooms include a bath, while shared bathroom rooms have a sink in the room and access to a corridor bathroom shared with a few other rooms. Some rooms open onto a quiet street-view balcony; single rooms may have a patio. Rooms on the back side or facing the interior courtyard tend to be quieter. The decor is simple and dated, with tiled floors and basic furnishings. A sink in the room is a practical plus for shared-bathroom bookings. Summer heat can be intense: no air conditioning is available, only ceiling fans that can be noisy. Rooms are clean and well-kept, with daily housekeeping and fresh towels. Bed comfort is generally good.

Hostal Las Nieves does not have a restaurant, bar, or breakfast service. However, its central location means dozens of restaurants, cafes, and fast-food outlets are within a 3-minute walk. A fridge and kettle are available in the common area for guest use. For self-catering, a supermarket is adjacent to the property. The lack of on-site dining makes the property best suited for travellers who plan to eat out or grab simple provisions.
