HOSTEL RELAX, Prague

The hostel sits in Karlín, a central Prague district with excellent transport links. Florenc bus and train station is an 8-minute walk, and a tram stop right outside provides easy access to the city centre and riverside. The old town and Prague Astronomical Clock are about 3 km away - reachable by tram or a 30-minute walk. Vaclav Havel Airport is 14 km away; direct buses run from Florenc station. Several cafés and restaurants are within a 5-minute walk, including Element, Ngo, and Kavarna Kocici. Despite the central location, the street and inner courtyard are quiet, and the soundproofed rooms help ensure a restful stay.

Accommodation ranges from mixed dorms to private apartments, all sharing bathroom facilities. Beds are comfortable but mattresses are thin (approx. 2 cm foam) and bottom-bunk movement can disturb the upper bunk. Rooms are large and airy with parquet floors and soundproofed walls, reducing street noise. Lockers are provided but may not be fully secure; bring a padlock. Linen includes sheets and a blanket but no pillowcases or duvet covers. Towels and soap are not supplied. Shared bathrooms have multiple toilets and showers, but low water pressure and potential overflow issues are common. Light switches for toilets are located outside the room. Some rooms are occupied by long-term residents, which can create noise, especially at night.

WiFi is free throughout the hostel. Luggage storage is available for an additional fee. There is no parking on site; guests arriving by car must use nearby paid parking. Check-in is strictly from 14:00 to 0:00; late arrivals are not possible. Check-out is at 10:00. The hostel uses key-card entry and provides invoices. Staff are friendly and responsive to issues. For longer stays, weekly payment is possible by paying one week in advance. Pets are not allowed, and the property is non-smoking throughout.
