HOTEL ALADIN, Paris

The hotel sits on a calm residential street in the 13th arrondissement, near the Latin Quarter. Metro stations Les Gobelins (line 7) and Glacière (line 6) are within a 5-minute walk, and several bus routes also pass nearby, making the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame, and AccorHotels Arena (3 km) easily accessible by public transport. Many of central Paris's attractions, including the Panthéon, Jardin des Plantes, and Luxembourg Gardens, are within a 15-20-minute walk. The immediate area has numerous cafés, restaurants, and a supermarket within a short walk, and the Rue du Mouffetard restaurant street is a 10-minute stroll away. The neighbourhood is considered central, quiet, and safe, well-suited for travellers who prefer walking or relying on metro and bus connections rather than driving.

All guestrooms at Hôtel Aladin offer a private bathroom (with shower, hairdryer, and free toiletries), heating, a flat-screen TV, a desk, and telephone. Rooms are simple and functional, with older furnishings, carpeted floors, and basic décor. Sizes are compact, and the few electrical outlets are limited and not always beside the bed. A fridge is not available in the rooms, and no balcony or air conditioning is provided. Street-facing and internally-courtyard-facing rooms are both present; rooms overlooking the rear courtyard tend to be quieter. The bedding has been reported as firm but supporting, and a comfortable enough sleep for a budget traveller is possible. Daily housekeeping is included and changes linens and towels promptly. The lift is available for guests with luggage, which is a practical bonus in Paris.

The hotel offers a continental breakfast for 9 EUR per person, consisting of a hot drink, juice, a croissant, a piece of bread, and a yogurt. Breakfast is served in a compact lounge area, and it must be ordered one day in advance at reception - there is no walk-in service. The breakfast is functional but light. There is no on-site restaurant, bar, or room service beyond what is noted. For a fuller meal or evening dining, the surrounding neighbourhood has numerous restaurants and cafés within a 2-5-minute walk, including L'Ourcine, Au Petit Marguery, and Le Sirocco, which offer varied French and international cuisine.
