HOTEL ANNEX CHECK IN SHIMBASHI, Tokyo

The hotel is centrally located, placing Shimbashi Station within a 500-metre walk, giving direct rail and metro links across the city and to major hubs. Tokyo Haneda Airport is 13 km away. Key landmarks such as Ginza (0.5 km) and numerous dining options on nearby streets are immediately accessible. The immediate area offers 24-hour restaurants and convenience stores, making self-catered breakfast or late-night meals easy. The location is a strong fit for travellers who prioritise walkability and transit access over having their own vehicle.

After a day of exploring Tokyo, the hotel offers a public bath with a small onsen to help relax, along with a separate sauna. These facilities are practical for winding down, especially for travellers who appreciate traditional bathing after long walks. There is no gym or pool; the wellness offering is focused on the bath and sauna.

The hotel provides free Wi-Fi in all areas - speed and reliability have been noted as inconsistent by some, so it may not suit heavy streaming or remote work. Luggage storage is offered, which is helpful for exploring before check-in or after check-out. Other services include laundry (with a washer in the room plus a shared tumble dryer), ironing, and dry-cleaning arrangements. A vending machine for both drinks and snacks is on-site. Safety deposit boxes are available at reception. The staff communicate in Japanese, with some English ability limited. Payment by credit card has been reported as sometimes problematic, so cash or a card that works reliably in Japan is advisable.
