The hotel sits in a calm, pleasant neighbourhood just off Shibuya's main bustle. Shinsen Station (Inokashira Line) is a 3-minute walk, and Shibuya Station - with its crossing, shopping and dining - is about 10-15 minutes on foot. The Kon Ichikawa Memorial Room is 5 minutes away, The Shoto Museum of Art is 500m, and Shibuya Mark City is an 8-minute walk. Several convenience stores and restaurants (Oishi Komachi Shinsen, Kozasa, Sanbyakuya) are within 0.3km. The area works well on foot, but the lack of an elevator and narrow stairs make it less practical for travellers with heavy suitcases.

Each capsule is designed for one person and includes a single bed, a privacy blind, a small locker for valuables, and a personal ventilation fan (capsules do not have individual air conditioning). Rooms are carpeted and have a sink and toilet inside the dormitory, so you don't need to go to another floor for basic needs. The mattresses are firm - a style common in Japan - and the bedding is thin, which may not suit everyone. The dormitory light stays on overnight, so bringing an eye mask is recommended. Ventilation noise and occasional stuffiness have been noted, so earplugs can help. If you are assigned an upper capsule, reaching the elevated locker with a heavy suitcase can be difficult, and large suitcases that do not fit in the locker are placed on the floor or left at the front desk.

The hotel does not have a restaurant or serve breakfast, but the tatami lounge on the second floor offers free Earl Grey tea, coffee and a microwave. Hot water is available from a dispenser. Within 0.3km you will find several local eateries such as Oishi Komachi Shinsen, Shinsen no Ramenya Usagi, Kozasa and Sanbyakuya, and a convenience store is one minute away for snacks and drinks. There is no kitchen, fridge or vending machine on the property.

The public bath is a traditional Japanese sento-style soaking bath with hot water, located on the second floor. It is free of charge and open 24hours. The changing area (powder room) is well-stocked with free skincare items (cleanser, lotion, moisturiser), hair dryers, curling irons and straighteners. Towels are provided fresh daily, and yukata robes are included. Tattoos are permitted. Swimsuits are not allowed in the bath. Note that the bath area and the dormitories are on different floors, and there is no elevator, so getting to and from the bath involves stairs. There is no spa, swimming pool or gym on site.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property and works well in the rooms and common areas. The second-floor tatami lounge is a shared space for relaxing, eating and working. Security is provided via key-card entry at the building entrance, room door, and common bath area, along with CCTV and smoke alarms. Each capsule has a small security locker (approx. 30cmx51cmx55cm) for valuables; larger suitcases that do not fit are left on the floor or at the front desk. Luggage can be stored before check-in (10:00-16:00) but not after check-out. A coin launderette is located right next door. Reception is staffed from 16:00 to 22:00, and late arrivals are handled via prior arrangement. Air conditioning, heating and a designated smoking area are available. No pets are allowed.
