Hotel Boccaccio is just a 1-minute walk from Santa Maria Novella train station, set on Via della Scala in the heart of Florence's historic center.
The station provides direct train connections across Italy and the tram T2 to Florence Airport (20 min, €4.50). The bus terminal is also across the road. All major attractions - including the Duomo, Uffizi Gallery, and Ponte Vecchio - are within a 10-15 minute walk. Numerous restaurants, cafés, a supermarket, and a laundromat are within a few minutes on foot.

Accommodation

Rooms feature classic decor with wood floors, air conditioning, satellite TV, and a private bathroom with bathtub or hydromassage shower.
Room options include single, double, twin, triple, and quadruple configurations. Some rooms have a small balcony or city views, but these are limited. Soundproofed windows help reduce street noise, and back-facing rooms are notably quieter. While some rooms are compact and furnishings may appear dated in places, beds are generally comfortable and air conditioning effective. Minibar and safe are provided. An electric kettle is available on request at the front desk.

Dining

Breakfast is served as a buffet from 7:30 to 10:00, offering a wide variety including fresh fruit, pastries, cereals, ham, cheese, yogurts, and hot drinks made to order.
The breakfast selection also includes cornflakes, brioches, croissants, bread, butter, jams, and fresh fruit. Coffee is a highlight - espresso, cappuccino, and American coffee prepared by staff. Cooked items are available at an extra charge. For early departures, a takeaway coffee and croissant can be provided. There is no full restaurant on the premises, but the bar, snack bar, and coffee house on site serve light fare and drinks. Happy hour and walking tours are available at an additional cost.
