Santa Maria Novella train station is a 10-15 minute walk, providing access to the tram to the airport. A taxi from Florence Peretola airport costs about €20-€25 and takes 15-20 minutes. The hotel is on a pedestrianised street; taxis can drop you close by. The immediate area is bustling with restaurants, but noise from the square can be heard until late, especially with windows open.

Room categories include classic, comfort, and superior Duomo-view rooms. Many rooms are compact; those facing the cathedral can experience street noise, especially at night. Single and twin/double rooms are available, and some can be configured with two separate beds. Private bathrooms are standard, with showers (some over raised baths). Air conditioning works best with windows closed. A lift reaches reception on the 4th floor, but rooms on other floors require stairs. Some rooms have terraces; comfort rooms with a view do not have a balcony. A baby cot is available free of charge.
