HOTEL FUEGO BRONX YANKEE STADIUM, New York

The location is close to Yankee Stadium (4 km), Bronx Zoo (2 km), and several popular Arthur Avenue restaurants within 1 km. A subway station is nearby for city access. However, the immediate area has safety concerns after dark, and the constant train noise-especially at night-is a major factor for light sleepers. Street parking is available but has been reported as unsafe, with car break-in attempts occurring quickly. Guests walking to the hotel should use extra caution, as the entrance is below street level and the surrounding block can feel unsafe. Public transport is the most practical way to move around; the nearby station provides direct routes to Manhattan and other boroughs.

Room sizes are compact, with some measuring around 13 m² rather than the 23 m² sometimes advertised. King-size beds are available and have been described as comfortable by many. However, the overall condition varies significantly: fixtures such as sinks and ceilings have been reported as damaged or unfinished, and some rooms show cigarette burns on bedding and visible wear. Smell from smoke and marijuana has been an issue even in non-smoking rooms. Noise from the adjacent train line and from other rooms (poor soundproofing) is a recurring concern. Guests seeking a quiet, well-maintained space for a longer stay may find the value limited given the price.

There is no dining on site. The area around Arthur Avenue offers several casual Italian and seafood restaurants within a 1-km walk, including Enzo's Of Arthur Avenue, San Gennaro Ristorante, and Catanias Pizza Cafe. For coffee or a light snack, Prince Coffee House and Gurra Cafe are nearby. Guests should plan all meals in advance and should not rely on the hotel's vending options.
