CANDLEWOOD SUITES NYC -TIMES SQUARE BY IHG, New York

Located in Hell's Kitchen on 39th Street, the hotel puts you within a 5-minute walk of Times Square and the Broadway Theatre District. Penn Station and Grand Central are only a few blocks away, giving direct rail and subway access across the city and to airports. The Javits Convention Center, Hudson Yards, and the High Line are within a 15-minute walk. Major sights like the Empire State Building, Macy's Herald Square, and Madison Square Garden are also close. The area is well served by taxis, buses, and all major subway lines. While the immediate block can feel a bit gritty, the location is ideal for theatergoers, convention attendees, and anyone wanting to explore midtown Manhattan on foot.

Each of the 188 studio suites features a separate living area with a comfortable bed, a reclining chair, desk, and TV. The highlight is the fully equipped kitchen: refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, cookware, dishes, and utensils-ideal for preparing meals and saving on dining out. The private bathroom includes a bath and shower, with a hairdryer and toiletries provided. Rooms are air-conditioned and have blackout curtains. Upper-floor rooms offer city views, and the 27th floor has been noted for its comfort and quietness. However, the furnishings and bathrooms are increasingly dated, with some carpets showing wear. Light sleepers may want to request a room away from elevators as some noise can carry.

Breakfast is not served, and there are no on-site dining outlets. However, every suite comes with a fully equipped kitchen (stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, pots, pans, utensils) so guests can easily prepare their own meals. The Candlewood Cupboard in the lobby stocks a variety of snacks, drinks, and basic toiletries available 24/7. A standard coffee machine is also available in the lobby at no charge. For those who prefer eating out, dozens of restaurants and cafés are within a three-minute walk, including coffee shops, pizza places, and pizzerias. Nearby grocery shopping is convenient for stocking the kitchen.

The on-site fitness center is open 24 hours and offers treadmills, elliptical machines, exercise bikes, yoga equipment, and weights. It is free for all guests. There is no pool or spa on the property. For other leisure, the hotel's location puts you within walking distance of all major Manhattan attractions, parks, and entertainment districts. Board games are available for family entertainment.

Free high-speed WiFi is available in all guest rooms and public areas. The 24-hour front desk can assist with concierge services, express check-in/check-out, and wake-up calls. A business center with printing, photocopying, and scanning is also open 24 hours. Guests have free access to self-service laundry facilities (washers and dryers). Safety deposit boxes, an ATM, and ironing equipment are available. Accessibility features include wheelchair-accessible rooms, lift access, visual alarms, and a portable bath seat. Valet parking is off-site and costs $80-$90 per day with reservation. Pets under 11 kg are allowed with a nonrefundable fee and vaccination records required. The property is entirely non-smoking.
