HOTEL MOULIN VERT, Paris

The hotel sits on a quiet street opposite a small park, surrounded by bakeries, organic food stores, bistros, and boutiques. Pernety Metro (line 13) provides direct service to the Champs-Élysées, Montparnasse, Saint-Lazare, and the Eiffel Tower area. Bus line 58 stops 200 metres away. Orly Airport is 50 minutes by public transport (RER C then bus 62), and Charles de Gaulle is accessible via RER B and metro line 4. The neighbourhood feels safe and lively, with many restaurants within a 5-minute walk. The Left Bank atmosphere makes it ideal for travellers who prefer a local Parisian experience over a tourist-heavy zone.

Room types include single (double bed), double/twin (two singles or one double), and triple (three single beds). All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, cable TV, mini fridge, hairdryer (on request), safety deposit box, and key card access. Tea and coffee facilities are available on request, not standard. The rooms are soundproofed, but thin walls mean noise from corridors and neighbouring rooms can be an issue; rooms on the courtyard side are noticeably quieter. The lift is small and sometimes out of service. Some rooms show signs of wear such as mould in bathrooms or poorly fitted windows. Beds are generally praised for comfort. Triple rooms feel cramped for three adults. Daily housekeeping is provided unless declined.

The breakfast includes juices, hot drinks, fresh fruit, pastries, cereal, yoghurt, cheese, jams, and dried fruit. It is a straightforward continental spread without hot items. The hotel does not have a restaurant or bar. For other meals, the surrounding streets are packed with brasseries, Thai, Lebanese, crêperies, and traditional Parisian bistros - all within a 3-minute walk. The ground-floor bakery is popular for fresh bread and croissants. There is a microwave in the breakfast room for guest use.
