HOTEL CACTUS, Paris

The hotel sits in a quiet neighbourhood with a metro stop steps away (line 12) and Montparnasse station on foot, providing rail links across the city and to Charles de Gaulle airport (via RER B). The Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre is close, and the Pasteur Institute is next door. Shops, bakeries, and restaurants are within a short walk on the surrounding streets. The top of the Eiffel Tower is visible from the street, and the tower is about 25 minutes away on foot. Bike-sharing stations and e-scooters are abundant, making car-free city exploration easy. The area is considered safe and convenient for both business and sightseeing.

Each room offers a flat-screen satellite TV, heating, and a private bathroom with a hairdryer. Some rooms include a fridge and a kettle for hot drinks. Air conditioning is available in all rooms, and soundproofing helps reduce street noise. Rooms vary in size; some are compact, and the triple room has no writing desk. Windows in some rooms have shutters that do not fully block light, affecting privacy. The building has three floors with no lift, reached by narrow spiral stairs. Metered central heating is available; temperatures can be regulated individually. Storage includes a wardrobe and a safe. The property does not offer connecting rooms.

The paid breakfast includes bread, pastries, hot drinks, and juice, served in a small seating area. The coffee machine may occasionally be out of order; a backup is not always available. The on-site coffee shop offers additional paid drinks and snacks. For other meals, the surrounding area is dense with bakeries, cafés, and restaurants - options like Jean Bart and Chez Gaby are within a 5-minute walk, and Le Ciel de Paris is 1 km away. Food delivery is permitted to the hotel.

The property offers a small garden courtyard where guests can sit outside or lock bicycles. Free walking tours are a self-guided option, and bike tours can be arranged at an additional charge. Cycling and hiking are available off-site in the local area. There is no spa, gym, pool, or other dedicated wellness facility on the premises.
