Gare de Lyon station (Metro lines 1 and 14, RER A and D) is just around the corner, providing direct rail links to Disneyland, Champs-Élysées, and the Louvre. Multiple bus lines serve the station, and Air France buses from Charles de Gaulle airport stop at Gare de Lyon. The neighbourhood is packed with restaurants, minimarkets, and shops within a block or two, and Bercy Village, the Seine riverbanks, and the elevated Promenade Plantée are all within a short walk. The hotel's position is ideal for early trains or late arrivals, and the area feels safe well into the evening.

Rooms are air-conditioned with double glazing, soundproofing, a flat-screen TV, safe, and private bathroom (shower or bath). Tea and coffee facilities are provided in the room. Superior Double rooms on the corner of rue Parrot offer Parisian views. A few rooms on the second and fifth floor have balconies facing the main street. While the furnishings and decor show signs of age, rooms are generally clean and comfortable, and windows can be opened for fresh air. Hard mattresses and small lift have been noted, but the beds are supportive for a short stay.

The breakfast buffet includes hot drinks (coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cappuccino), fruit juice, breads, pastries (pains au chocolat, croissants, muffins), jams, Nutella, honey, cottage cheese, yoghurts, and stewed fruit. Breakfast costs 13 EUR per person.
