MONTPARNASSE DAGUERRE, Paris

Rue Daguerre is one of the most characterful streets in the 14th, lined with bakeries, restaurants, independent shops and a daily market. Gaîté Metro (line 13) is a 5-minute walk away, while the larger Montparnasse station (TGV, lines 4, 6, 12, 13) is about 10 minutes on foot. RER B at Denfert-Rochereau (providing direct access to Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports) is a 15-minute walk. Luxembourg Gardens is about 20 minutes on foot, making this a well-connected base for both business travellers needing Porte de Versailles and leisure visitors exploring central Paris. Many travellers find the street feels safe and authentic, with easy access to all types of amenities.

Breakfast includes breads and pastries from the local bakery, a choice of cheeses and charcuterie, jams, fresh fruit and fruit juices. It is available as a buffet in the dining area but can also be served in the room for the same price. The breakfast is generally considered a good-value option for a central Paris hotel, though the selection is continental in style - not a full American hot buffet. For those preferring a lighter morning meal, the hotel lobby has a self-service coffee machine (free for guests, accessible until 15:00). The surrounding Rue Daguerre offers a wide range of restaurants, bakeries and cafés within a two-minute walk, covering French, Italian, Japanese, Vietnamese and Thai cuisine, plus a daily food market.
