Wettersteinplatz station (U1) provides direct access to Munich Central Station in 5 stops and to Marienplatz in about 10-12 minutes. Tram and bus stops are adjacent. For drivers, the Mittlerer Ring road is 4 minutes away. The hotel sits on a four-lane street with a tram line - rooms facing the road can be audible. A supermarket, bakery, cafés, and several restaurants (including Indian and Vietnamese) are within a 5- to 10-minute walk. The River Isar and the Perlacher Forst forest are 3km away, ideal for walking or cycling.

Standard double rooms are basic and often compact (some about 2.5x3m), while superior rooms and family suites offer more space and some have a living area with a sofa bed. Some double beds are narrow (1.20-1.40m) - two single mattresses pushed together. Rooms are carpeted and equipped with heating, air conditioning, and an electric kettle (available on request if not in room). Courtyard-facing rooms are quieter; street-facing rooms can hear traffic and trams. A few basement rooms have window wells and may feel stuffy. Bathrooms have integrated showers (or bathtubs in some) and hairdryers; some have sliding doors that do not fully seal. Cleanliness is variable - some rooms are newly furnished, others show wear. Housekeeping is daily unless you opt out for a free drink.

Breakfast costs €13 per person and includes bread rolls, mini croissants, gluten-free bread, oatmeal, vegetarian options, cold cuts, cheese, and hot drinks. The breakfast room is in the basement and can get busy; the coffee machine may have queues. Many guests find the breakfast adequate, though some consider it expensive for the spread. For lunch or dinner, the hotel has a snack bar and a cosy bar with limited savoury options. Numerous restaurants are within a 10-minute walk - including Poseidon (Greek, 0.5km), Ho Vietnamesische Küche & Sushi Bar, Bui's Asia Küche, and Pinturicchio Restaurant (Italian, 1km).

The fitness centre is a small gym with basic equipment, free for all guests. No pool, sauna, or spa. The hotel terrace is a pleasant spot for relaxing.
