Ikebukuro Station is one of Tokyo's major transport hubs, with JR, Tokyo Metro, Seibu, and Tobu lines providing transfer-free connections to all central districts. The hotel sits just off a main road, in a quiet but well-lit alley. Sunshine City is a 20-minute walk or short bus ride away; the Ikebukuro West Exit bus stop is the closest for limousine buses. The area is packed with convenience stores, drugstores, ramen shops, and casual dining within a two-minute walk. C1 station exit (stairs) is nearest; C6 (escalator) and C9 (lift) exits are a short walk further and better for heavy luggage.

Four room types are available: Single (1 person, shared bathroom), Economy (up to 3 people, shared bathroom), Standard (up to 3 people, private bathroom), and Annex (up to 4 people, private bathroom). All rooms are air-conditioned and come with a TV, electric kettle, hair dryer, towels, slippers, and daily linen change. Rooms are compact as is typical in Japan - the Economy room can feel tight for three adults with luggage. Standard and Annex rooms offer more floor space and have a separate toilet and shower; Annex rooms also include a kitchenette with a fridge and microwave. Windows are present in most rooms but may not lock in all cases. No balcony is available. Rooms are not soundproof, and corridor noise from doors closing can be audible. Ground-floor rooms exist in both buildings and are worth requesting for easier access.

The hotel does not operate a restaurant or serve breakfast. The shared kitchen in the common area provides basic cooking facilities (microwave, toaster, electric kettle, fridge) for simple meal preparation. Dozens of ramen shops, curry houses, izakaya, and convenience stores are within a 1-2 minute walk on the main street. Ramen Dai, Kushikatsu Tanaka, and Spice Ramen Shaka are all about 0.5 km away. Starbucks and other cafés are also nearby for coffee and pastries. There are no utensils for elaborate cooking, but the facilities suffice for heating pre-prepared food or making tea and toast.

The property does not include a spa, swimming pool, fitness centre, or wellness facilities. Leisure options are limited to the shared lounge and TV area, plus the surrounding Ikebukuro neighbourhood which offers shopping malls, entertainment arcades, and parks such as Minami-Ikebukuro Park (1 km away). For travellers who prioritise on-site recreation, this hotel will not meet that need; it is best suited for sightseeing or business stays where the room and location are the primary focus.

Wi-Fi is free and available in all areas. Luggage can be stored free of charge before check-in and after check-out; storage between stays is free up to 5 days, then 200 yen per piece per day. A free washing machine is provided; the dryer costs 100 yen per 50 minutes. Daily housekeeping empties bins and replaces towels and toiletries (toothbrush, paper cups) - room servicing can be declined if not wanted. A shared kitchen and lounge are open for use. Fax/photocopying is available for a fee. The front desk is not staffed 24 hours, and check-in after midnight is not possible.
